Bent offers up some leftovers off their ARIELS album on their FLAVOUR COUNTRY EP. And, certainly, there's plenty of flavour here to go around. The boys haven't lost their touch for feel-good mellowness. "Exercise 5" gets the mood going immediately. The alternate version of "I Can't Believe It's Over" leans towards a definite pop sensibility, but this doesn't denigrate the track any. "The Waters Deep" is a mellow sea shanty. The smoothness of "Baby of the Year" makes it sparkle as if rolled in glitter. A wonderful little addition to the Bent oeuvre.
